Facebook appoints Ajit Mohan as India managing director

The newly created role of a 'managing director for India' is a VP-level role in which Ajit Mohan will be responsible for Facebook's India strategy and will lead a senior team that will strengthen Facebook's relationships with people, businesses, and government. Mohan joins Facebook from Hotstar, where he was chief executive officer.
