Inheritance tax has spurred large endowments: Arun Jaitley

Union finance minister Arun Jaitley said the endowments received by some major hospitals in the US and Europe run into billions of dollars, which are provided by people and patients who have benefitted from them. He added that this doesn't exist in India as we don't have an inheritance tax and our charities are funded more on a community basis.
