Retail inflation cools to 2.33% in Nov; Oct IIP at 8.1%

Retail inflation in November eased to 2.33% from 3.31% in October. "Encouragingly, after the spike was seen last month, core inflation has moderated to 5.7%, its lowest in FY19 so far," said Vivek Kumar, senior economist, Yes Bank. The inflation stood below RBI's medium-term target of 4% for the fourth straight month.
